The hand beaten oval body with scalloped shaped rim supported on four scroll feet.

Italy 1944-1968

22 X  18.5cm, 9cm high.


In October 1944 the law changed in Italy regarding the hallmarks on silver, the 'fascia' (a symbol of fascism) was removed within with the Lozenge.  In January 1968 there was a new hallmarking system introduced using a polygon shape and a star.
