Hamish Clark is distinguished by a career spanning almost 30 years in the antique and auction industries.
He established Hamish Clark Antiques in Sydney’s prime art and antiques district, Queen Street Woollahra, in 1993. It was noted in the New York Times for “offering an eclectic mix of 18th and 19th century furniture, porcelain, silver, paintings and decorative arts”.
In 2016 Hamish was invited to head the single-owner auction department at Mossgreen, then Australia’s largest auction house with annual sales of over $48 million.
Rarity, Quality & Intrigue
Hamish continued to specialise in the management of private collections until 2020 when he re-established Hamish Clark Antiques as an online business.
