The Gibraltar Barracks is a former British Army installation located on Out Risbygate, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. The Baracks were opened in 1878 and became the depot for the two battalions of the 12th East Suffolk regiment of foot that evolved to become The Suffolk regiment in 1881. This table light was most likely made to commemorate this event.
