A Pair of Napoleon III ormolu candelabra attributed to  Victor Paillard, Paris.
Louis XVI, pine cone and acanthus cast finial, issuing four fluted supports and two candle branches with urn shaped nozzles, central spirally reeded pedestal on a shaped base, four ball feet.

Victor Paillard (1805-1886) was known for his bronzes, ormolu clocks and candelabra. He was one of the most distinguished bronze casters in Paris during the second half of the 19th Century.
He was chosen to cast the massive zinc and bronze figure of Queen Victoria for The Great Exhibition in 1851.
